Joe Massingill is an actor, writer, director, and teacher originally from Newnan, GA. After earning his B.F.A. in Theater Arts from Valdosta State University in 2008, Joe spent his early career in outdoor drama and regional theatre before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his career in film and television.
In LA, Joe continued to refine his acting skills at The Aquila Studio and expanded his range with improv and sketch comedy training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. His diverse background has led to a successful career on both sides of the camera.
Joe’s TV and film credits include roles in Spider-Man Noir, Killing It, Barry, Fear the Walking Dead, Catch-22, The Resident, Halt and Catch Fire, Hart of Dixie, When the Game Stands Tall, and Trouble with the Curve, among others.
In addition to his work as a performer, Joe is passionate about teaching and is excited to share his knowledge and experience with the incredibly talented actors at The Aquila Studio.
